In 2000, Chris Lin (林冠群) and his fellow Stanford alumnus, Lambert Chien, jointly founded the company that launched KKBOX towards the end of 2004, in an attempt to tap into the fast-growing music streaming market.

Currently the CEO of KKBOX, Chris is committed to providing a service for people to easily enjoy music and share their favorite songs with friends anywhere, anytime. With KKBOX delivering amazing results in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, and Thailand as Asia’s leading brand among online music streaming services, Chris continues to lead the management in planning and executing corporate development strategies, product development, and overseas expansion.

Chris received a Master’s degree in Operations Research from Stanford University following a Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Boston University.
