2022 TSS Spring Internship

Are you a person that's always been interested in what startups do? Do you enjoy working independently and thinking outside the box? Are you ready to walk your own way and add a meaningful internship experience to your future? Then you're at the right place because TSS 2022 Spring Internship Program is made for you! Here, you'd be able to meet many like-minded people as well as get to know many inspiring players in the startup scene. We also host many startup events that support the ecosystem and bridge young talents to it.

TSS is the leading ecosystem builder in Asia that helps Taiwanese startups go global and international startups land in Taiwan. Our team is made up of dedicated and multi-talented people from all over the world with one mission in mind -- supporting Taiwan's startup ecosystem. Internship applications will be on a rolling basis and the final deadline for applications is January 11th, 11:59pm. We’ll begin to interview and fill positions right away. This means the earlier you apply, the greater the chance you’ll have to be selected as a TSS intern!

Duration & Time Commitment & Location

  • Starting Date: January 24th, 2022

  • Duration: 6 months

  • Requirement: 3 FULL days a week (No Wednesdays)

  • Location: 三創生活園區 Syntrend 11F (11F, No. 2, Section 3, Civic Blvd., Zhongzheng District, Taipei City, 100)

Salary

  • NTD $185 / hour

General Application Criteria

  • Creative & detail-oriented

  • Willing to do and learn new things

  • Ability to learn, multitask, and adapt fast

  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Taiwan (senior students preferred)

  • Passion and enthusiasm for technology, innovation & startups

  • Proven ability to read, speak, and write English fluently (We are an English-first working environment)

Internship Skills We Are Looking For

Design Skills

The work you will touch upon….

  • Design key visuals for startup events, social media campaigns, and other collateral marketing material

  • Assist with video production, from ideation to editing, and product management

Skills and Experience:

  • Graphic design

  • Video editing

  • Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro)

  • Familiarity with social media and online culture

  • Eye for design

  • Layout skills

  • Please provide your portfolio in the application, if any

Analysis Skills

The work you will touch upon….

  • Support data entry and analysis within our database of startups, investors, etc.

  • Oversee website administration using SquareSpace CMS

  • Ability to write HTML/CSS (preferred)

  • Support due diligence research

  • Project management

  • Improve user experience and social media platform performance

Skills and Experience:

  • Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets

  • Social media data analysis

  • Information management

  • Website management

  • Research

  • Know about Taiwan’s startup investment scene

Marketing Skills

The work you will touch upon….

  • Curate biweekly emails to the startup member and greater community

  • Plan and schedule posts on social media platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn

  • Support ideation and execution of social media campaigns

Skills and Experience:

  • Copywriting

  • Social media planning

  • Data-driven

  • Follows trends

  • Content creation

  • SEO, preferred

  • Ability to write both English and Chinese contents

Important Note:

FAQ:

When will I find out whether I've been selected?

We will review applications on a rolling basis and close applications on January 11th. Once positions have been filled, all applicants will be notified. 

I just graduated in 2021, can I still apply?

Applicants must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program.

I'm a foreign exchange student, can I still apply?

Applicants must hold a Taiwan ID or open work permit (許可證) via APRC or JFRV.
